  • This course takes you through the seven aliyot of the Parsha Noach. The culture and spiritual awareness of each aliyah is emphasized.  There is a book available that offers even more information than the videos do. I highly recommend that you get the book. You can find the book by going to Amazon and searching for “Koplitz Noach.” Get the volume that contains all seven aliyah. The book contains legends, midrash, Talmud, and Zohar entries that supplement the material in the video. If you only watch the videos, you will get an appreciation for Parsha Noach. However, getting the book will enlighten you about the entire Pardes analysis of the Parsha. This project will eventually cover all 52 Parshim of the Torah. Each year the entire Torah is read in the synagogues. Each Parsha is divided into seven sections called aliyah. Each day a person is supposed to read one aliyah. On the Sabbath the rabbi could talk about the entire Parsha or just one aliyah. The analysis is called Semitic Bible study methods because it is based on the rabbinical interpretation of Pardes. Asking questions about the Scripture is an important aspect that helps one learn about the Bible.
