  • Successful completion of this course will assist the student in preparing for APP certification. The structured questions and answers will test the student on the four security domains covered in the APP course library. All questions are based on the official ASIS APP Certification program and the official APP exam study materials.

    The questions contained in this program are not a replica of the actual exam questions.

    The APP exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions and may contain 25 “pretest” (unscored) questions randomly distributed throughout the examination for a total of 125 questions. The time allowed takes into consideration the review of pretest items. The APP exam is 2 hours.

    In order to pass the examination students should be confidently scoring approximately 80 – 82% in practice sessions. The questions in this program can be repeated as often as possible.

    The exam questions are focused on the following domains; Domain I: Security Management Fundamentals, Domain II: Business Operations, Domain III: Risk Management, Domain IV: Response Management.

    On completion of this course the student will be familiar with the typology and structure of the potential questions that can be asked in the APP examination. Students should always remember that the APP exam is a timed, proctored exam and should be prepared for accordingly.
