  • The TSD – (Tekla Structural Designer) Modelling Fundamentals is a course that goes through the process of designing the structure of your building. The course is split into four sections which are listed below:

    1. Introduction of Graphical User Interface

    2. Material Modelling 2D

    3. Multi-Material Modelling 3D

    4. Design

The learning outcome of the course is that you will learn how to navigate through the software when designing your structure from setting the gridlines and levels to the results of your design.

In lecture 1 you will learn the navigation of the interface and set it to your preference.

In lecture 2 you will learn how to set the pre model settings, construction levels and gridlines, element releases, applying 2D loadings and validation, Analysis and viewing graphical results.

In Lecture 3 you will about the copy command, placing structure elements, panel loadings, roof structures, Timber floor, load combinations and validation and analysis results.

In Lecture 4 you will about the design elements, for example, Design options, review mode, design member of concrete & Steel, Lateral loading wind loadings and finally outputting reports and generating drawings.

After completing this course you will have the basic knowledge on how to design a structure in various materials for example Steel, Concrete and Timber.
