I[1], Sophie Springer, was born in Vienna, Austria. I studied fashion design in Florence and later specialized in the design of handbags, learning both the craftsmanship and designing.

Since 2004 I have been designing and producing my own collection of bags “Sophie Springer” in Florence: design, cutting and production are all done locally.

Living in Florence, for the last 15 years I have been teaching, in English and Italian, at different international fashion schools (courses of drapery, pattern, sewing and accessories.

In 2020, the current situation motivated me to start teaching on-line courses, an interesting and new experience for me.
