Update (3-27-2024) : This course was recorded with the Blender 2.9 API.
The shader portion of the course is now an obsolete way of drawing to the screen.
Use the GPU module from blender API documentation and look at the examples that ship with blender in the scripting editor templates to see how the new method of drawing is accomplished. Even though this course has aged some, it still has many relevant topics and the general idea of how to make the addon and how the data is navigated is still accurate.
I will leave this course online as a legacy and for users who still use this version of blender.
