  • Cartons can be made from many materials like plastics and composites. Most of all it is typically made from paperboard. A paper and a sheetmetal has the same characteristic of  “thin sheet”. With this in mind we can utilize the sheetmetal tools of Fusion 360 to create a carton.

In this course we are tasked to create a shipping carton in Fusion 360.

Utilizing the sheetmetal  tools we will create a double wall corrugated paper – “B,C” flute with thickness of 6mm.

Some of the key takeaways are:

? Creating and joining sheetmetal flanges.

? Creation of sheetmetal flat pattern.

? Addition of brand logos and decals.

? Creation of 2D drawing based on the 3D model.

? Follow along with highly detailed light to moderate instruction.

? Course Exercise Files included in every lecture to assist you in starting out where you ended.

By the end of this course, you will have the confidence to step-up and model complex packaging designs using sheetmetal tools in Fusion 360.

This course is intended for students and professionals who are absolute beginners. In addition, this course is a must for those who are comfortable creating solid bodies. For those who has experience in parametric CAD modeling packages you will be amazed with the fun challenges, tips and tricks that we are going to share.
