You will learn about General tips helps you to keep workflow and optimize 3d max performance. Create forest pack using items from library or any other items you may need in your project. Edit items and adjust the collision radius, probability and forest material. Use spline and paint area as including or excluding area, use an object or another forest to exclude items. create scale and density falloff. Distribute items on a path or according to an image and define items density, diversity and collisions. Distribute items on 3d surfaces, adjust items distribution according to XY coordinates or surface UVs, limit the distribution according to the height or slope. Create high level of diversity by adjusting the position, rotation and scale. • This course simply explains forest pack basics, it is like a brief of basics and important features of the forest so it is perfect for the beginners and to the people who wants to learn forest pack in easy way and in short time. first we shall learn how to use display rollout and i will show some general tips to ensure workflow and optimize 3ds max performance, second we will create forest using items from viewport or library or any items that are needed in the project. also there will be an explanation to idea of collision radius, probability, scale, global scale and forest material how to add, edit materials . after that we will try to create forest the different area types and show how to use area to include or exclude items and scatter on 3d surfaces then use two modes to distribute items and control density and diversity, creating scale and density falloff as well. finally well have how to use forest library and how to create user’s library’s. at the end of this course learners will be able to scatter items easily and fast to their projects using forest pack which is the most famous scattering plugin.
