  • Dear Students,

Welcome to EduTech School! We are excited to embark on this journey with you in exploring the dynamic world of programming through Python.

    Basic Information About Python:

Python, a high-level, interpreted programming language, was conceptualized by Guido van Rossum in the late 1980s. Born out of a desire for simplicity and readability, Python’s development began in December 1989 as a successor to the ABC programming language. Guido van Rossum, then at Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI) in the Netherlands, aimed to create a language that was easy to understand, write, and maintain.

Python’s inaugural public release, version 0.9.0, debuted in February 1991, showcasing features like exception handling, functions, and modules that persist in modern Python. Subsequent versions, including Python 1.0 in January 1994, introduced further enhancements.

A significant milestone in Python’s evolution was the release of Python 2.0 in October 2000, incorporating advancements like list comprehensions, garbage collection, and Unicode support. The subsequent major overhaul, Python 3.0, released in December 2008, brought about backward-incompatible changes to streamline the language and enhance its consistency.

Now, let’s embark on this exciting journey together! Best of luck as you dive into the world of Python programming.

    Thank & Warm Regards,
